A Culmination of Ten Years Together
Luther College Center for Faith & Life
The concert featured the favorite choral music sung under the direction of Weston Noble, Nordic Favorites, including music by Hans Hassler, Paul J. Christiansen, Luther Professor Emeritus, Maurice Monhardt, Knut Nystedt, and favorite spirituals and concluded with Nordic Choir signature pieces under Weston Noble's direction, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross and O Lord God. Luther Alumni joined the choir for those final songs in a choir of about 200 people that filled the hall.
Dr. Andrew Last, conductor of Luther's Norsemen, Collegiate Chorale, assisted Mr. Noble all week and sang bass with the ensemble. In addition, Eric Cutler, Luther alumni and world reknowned operatic tenor, flew back from Germany to sing special selections honoring Weston Noble during the concert.
It was an incredible week!
